Greetings,

Hurts so Good here. I started derby in October of 2009, three short months after I got into a wicked accident with a 4 wheeler and broke my face in half. I’m a blocker with a hit that will make you cry or at least sigh a little. In my grown up life I’m a social worker and a kick-ass girl. Nine months out of the year I’m an addict. I’m addicted to the smell of the van on a long trip, the long sleepless night and the laps around the track. I’m addicted to the sweat pouring down my tattoo-covered veins, the bruises, and the hits. I’m addicted to the sound of the track in the early mornings, the adrenaline before the first whistle, and the sound of the crowd. I love everything about derby, but lets face it- I’m just here for the AFTER PARTY!
