NEO ROLLER DERBY FINDS A HOME IN DOWNTOWN AKRON!
NEO Roller Derby is proud to announce that we have signed a lease at Canal Place for our practice space. This major step was made possible through the hard work of the Board of Directors and commercial realtor Lorin Schultz, CCIM, of NAI Cummins Commercial Real Estate. Downtown Akron is a central location for a majority of NEO skaters, who drive from as far north as Cleveland and as far south as Wooster. This new home will give the league a sense of ownership, and will bring the teamwork and commitment to a new level. NEO has already started work on the space to make it ready for our practices in October. NEO is seeking the
following donations from individuals and businesses:
- Material to fix the concrete floor
- Electrical planning and permit assistance from an Electrician licensed in Summit County for volunteer work for a non-profit
- Industrial Fans
- Industrial Extension Cords
- Industrial Brooms
- Lockers
